Blog Challenge – Day 15

Yep, day 15. You might have noticed that I missed a couple days there. Yeah…a fail on my part. We’ve had a slightly hectic week here at the Walker house. Big T has been doing Army stuff which means he’s been away from the house. Thursday, the day of my downfall, was my tipping point. the brain was taxed out as far as it could go at the moment and ?wallah, no blog.

Day 14 I worked then volunteered at the concession stand at the high school football game. The stand is the band booster’s big money maker. How they earn money for all things band. It was also the day Big T came back home so we hung out watching Ray Donovan until it was time to head to the school. It was definitely nice having him home.

That brings up to day. Oh day 15, you were a busy day. We took a trip down to VCU for the GirlChild. At this point she has her heart set on it. It has the feel she was hoping for. Along with the degree she’s looking at getting.

That bring us all up to date. Now I’m off to schedule a post for tomorrow…hopefully.

Blog Challenge – Day 5

Its Wednesday! Have you been surviving the week? Have you found any spare time to sit and read? Get lost in a book?

I haven’t but that’s okay. My co-worker at the day job is back and I’m back to my M-W-F schedule. I’ve gotten caught up on a couple things that were desperate for attention. Mailing packages. Getting the car fixed. Grocery shopping because I’ve been told there is a storm coming to the East Coast. People expect food apparently.

Tomorrow is a writing day for me. Almost all day, as I just learned I need to take the truck in for an oil change. Another of those life errands I’m sure you all are aware of.

Okay, its a short blog from me but yay! day 5.

Hope you’re having a decent week. ~ Brandy

Blog Challenge – Day 3

Monday…..yep, its here. Happens once a week, even though sometimes it seems like every day is a Monday. What should we talk about today? How about a Monday Memory? A trip back to the beginning of the Tiger Nip books and CRAVING MORE.

Need a refresher?

Craving_200x300Corrine Hart is ready for few days off for rest and relaxation. At the top of her to-do list is spending as much time as possible in tiger form and doing her best to banish all thoughts of the mysterious Hunky Cupcake Guy who spent the last two weeks driving her libido insane.

Jett Montgomery-Murphy just wants to know if the tasty treats that keep showing up at work are the same ones his best friend used to get while they were in college. A trip out to Sweet Confections confirms what he thought and brings him in close contact with the one woman he’s secretly lusted after for years, his best friend’s sister Corrine.

A late night tryst leads to two tigers finding their mates and two humans unsure what to do next. Add in an overbearing brother, a best friend with her own drama, and a crazy ex-girlfriend that has a checkered past and you have a recipe for disaster.

Will Corrine and Jett be able to overcome the unexpected obstacles on their way to falling in love? Or will they throw in the towel before the relationship even gets off the ground?

CRAVING MORE was my first love but not my first book, but we’ll get to that later, maybe in another blog. CRAVING MORE features my favorite animal…the tiger. I’m fascinated with them. If we had past lives, which I think we did, I would have been one or at least hope I was. I guess you’d say it was my spirit animal so that could be why I picked CRAVING MORE to be my first published work.

The Tiger Nip world is growing. New bits of information are emerging. What I thought was a semi-small world in CRAVING MORE has been steadily expanding. The DNA of the hybrids and pure breds. How human DNA plays a part. The Purists and their snobby, speciest attitude toward those not like them. Even the geography of the Tiger Nip world has grown. You’ll find out more about that when the third book finally emerges from my iMac.

That’s all for now…see ya tomorrow. ~ Brandy

Blog Challenge – Day 2

October started and I wasn’t even around to start blogging. Go figure. Yesterday was a day filled with rain and a band competition for the middle kid. It was cool because it was up at the Naval Academy but then the rain was well, a bit of a damper. Times got adjusted. Hubby and I went to the mall. Shows were watched and goodies bought. Then there was a trip into Annapolis were hubby and I walked around and grabbed a couple drinks and food.?Overall, it was a great day, Middle Kid’s band got 3rd, but it was loooooong.

Now that we’re in October, its time for the blog challenge and for me to finish a book. Feels like forever since that’s happened. Now that I’m going back to my regular day job work schedule, I should be able to get on track and writing. FINDING MORE just went over the 50,000 words count. I’m thrilled. I kept telling Mel that she needs to write the story and not to length and that’s something I need to keep in mind too. One of those take my own advice.

Currently, the hero and heroine are in the same house, in the same room even. So yay! for that. Maybe now things will get moving. They are true mates after all and even though they are a bit older, their animals selves should be taking over. At least, that’s how its working in my head.

That’s all for now. Enjoy your Sunday and I’ll see you tomorrow. ~ Brandy
