Happy Anniversary Mel!

Mel's Anniversary

Shout out to my BFF Melissa Schroeder on her publishing anniversary.

Its been 10 years since she had her first book published and I think that is freaking amazing. She’s pursued her career amidst those that told her she wasn’t a REAL author because she was digital and not with a big publishing house. She took the plunge?into the self-punishing world with little support from her fellow authors and has blazed a trail others can follow.

She’s my best friend, mentor and a damn good author. So give her a hearty congratulations and join her on her blog hop.?It will be running from today through midnight PST on the 27th (her actual anniversary date.)

Now that all of that is out of they way let’s get down to the nitty gritty…my favorite book from Mel.

I’m torn between Her Mother’s Killer

Killer_200x300

and

Lessons in?Seduction

seduction_450

Those two books just make me die! I love them so much. Her Mother’s Killer has suspense and mystery with just the right amount of romance. Lessons in Seduction….*sighs* I can’t even put into words how much the characters get to me.

For my part of the giveaway I’m offering up $20 gift card to Amazon or BN (so you can get them if you don’t have them already.) Just leave your favorite Melissa book in the comments and I’ll pick a winner after the blog hop is over.

PLEASE NOTE: You MUST come back to find out if you’ve won. I will not hunt you down. You’ll have 48 hours after I post the winner to contact me either using the contact form on my site or emailing me at brandy@brandywalker.net. Include you email address and gift card store choice.

There’s a grand prize Mel is offering of a Mini Ipad (US residents, International get a GC from online bookstore of their choice).

Make sure you pop on over to all the authors? and blogs? pages! And check back on Mel’s blog everyday. I’ve heard she *might* be offering up daily prizes if enough people are interested. Harmless Gear, Posters, lots of cool stuff! Make sure to stop on by?every day!
